Email UsThe RF / Network Technician provides installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for integrated tactical and strategic communications infrastructure, bridging traditional RF transmissions with IP based data networks. This role owns the operational readiness of SATCOM, Line of Sight (LOS) radios, and microwave transmission systems, along with the administration of associated LAN/WAN networking equipment such as routers, switches, and Radio over IP (RoIP) gateways. The technician performs advanced system level diagnostics, conducts spectrum analysis to mitigate signal interference, terminates and tests communication cabling (including fiber optic and coaxial), and ensures all systems adhere strictly to DoD RMF, JSIG, and operational security standards to guarantee highly available, secure mission communications.
The System Network Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and continuous maintenance of secure enterprise network infrastructure in support of Department of Defense missions. This role requires comprehensive expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies across classified and unclassified domains, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS, to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust scalability. The engineer routinely performs complex network troubleshooting, integrates emerging hardware and software solutions, and adheres strictly to DoD RMF, JSIG, and operational security standards to guarantee highly available, secure mission communications.
Dark Mesh's cybersecurity professionals, spanning Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), and Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) roles, own the security posture of classified and unclassified DoD information systems from design through day to day operation. ISSEs design, develop, and embed security architectures and controls into DoD systems throughout the engineering lifecycle, applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 to guide systems to Authority to Operate (ATO). ISSOs maintain the day to day security posture and continuous monitoring of fielded systems, using tools such as eMASS, ACAS, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to manage compliance artifacts, enforce access controls, and lead incident response. Across all three disciplines, professionals must hold an active Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance and maintain appropriate DoD 8140/8570 certifications, such as Security+ CE, CISSP, CGRC, or CISM.
The OCO Software Engineer designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software applications and systems supporting Dark Mesh's offensive cyber operations mission. This role calls for knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: C, Go, Python, or Java, along with a working knowledge of security concepts, networks, and system internals applied to daily tasks. The engineer contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects, provides solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, and ensures standards of excellence are met on every deliverable.
